That's right! We are finally settled into our new home here in Round Rock, (just outside of Austin), Texas and we got here just in time too! We have been lucky enough to enjoy the tail-end of summer with very little rain and still today I am sitting in shorts and a T-shirt while friends back in Buffalo are already bundled up indoors.

I have been asked by some of you to share pictures of our new home, but with the move we sold and donated a lot of the furniture we had in Buffalo, and we are still busy replacing everything -- pretty much starting from scratch. With Ikea just down the road, buying new has never been so much fun for me! I promise to share pictures soon.

Speaking of new, some of you have commented on the new logo and redesigned website. As I mentioned in my last newsletter I just felt that The Edge needed a fresh new appearance in honor of our fresh new location. I am much happier with the new logo and feel like it's just more "me" than it was before. Thank you so much for the compliments!

There are still a few tweaks and changes I want to make to the website. I would love to add some new testimonials, and will be sending out requests for these soon.

I will also be adding to the links page on the site -- more specifically affiliate links for companies with whom I regularly work, and whom I would recommend to clients and colleagues without hesitation. In doing my research for this new addition I discovered how little I really know about affiliate marketing and decided it's time I found out!

This month's blog topic will be affiliate marketing where I will cover some of the options, how-to's and ethics behind these techniques. I thought I would kick off with a proper description of what exactly affiliate marketing is, compliments of Wikipedia, and build from there. I hope that you enjoy the article below.
